For women the dress code is : skirts, scalfs, hair bands, colours, madras (traditional caribean print)

Pour les femmes : la jupe, le foulard sur les hanches, la coiffe sur les cheveux parfois, de la couleur, du madras parfois, 

C'est une danse qui est accompagnée par un tambour et un chanteur également, très intense et avec un vrai échange avec le cavalier en face, "le public" fait partie intégrante de la danse, c'est un échange complet entre les danseurs, le public, le chanteur et le tambour, 

this dance is danced with someone playing drums, a singer and an intense exchange with the woman and the man plus the public that is totally part of the all show/dance

The slaves were singing and dancing to unwind from their very harsh life conditions and also using this mean of communication to share messages between them that their "owner" couldn't understand, sometimes preparing a strategy to escape from slavery, that is why the caribean people who do, watch or listen to the bélé dancing/singing are very deeply impacted by it, it's like it goes through your veins, that's what it feels to me...

une artiste qui n'a pas eu le succès qu'elle méritait selon moi au vu de sa voix exceptionnelle

Son style ne valorise pas sa beauté : trop sombre, meme si le style rock lui va bien, 

je la verrai plutôt avec des couleurs plus claires dans un style rock romantique donc

• jupe style cuir rose orangé ou lavande
• ou jean brut et veste en cuir dans des couleurs corail, vieux rose, bleu lavande, violet clair et style romantique glamour

Her style was/is not in accordance with her beauty, too dark firstly and doesn't enhance her best features, i would see her in a romantic/rock style with rose orange leather skirt or lavender OR dark jeans with a leather jacket in lavender blue, soft orange, clear purple or violet colours and also i would see her in a romantic glamourous looks, I have put some examples below :
