La Beauté Naturelle - Natural Beauty : make up is a plus not a must, le maquillage est un accessoire

Qu'est ce que la beauté au naturelle? 

Selon moi cela veut dire se sentir bien, se sentir soi, sans artifice 

et avoir une routine beauté qui nettoie, nourrit et protège la peau au quotidien

what is natural beauty?

My idea of natural beauty is about feeling good with oneself,

feeling good in your body, no fake pretence, no pressure to be "good looking" for others

and having a daily beauty routine that cleans, nourishes and protects one's skin 

Je crois sincèrement que lorsqu'on sait que notre beauté naturelle suffit, quand on a conscience de ça, ça se voit

et le maquillage devient un plus et non un incontournable pour être "présentable" 

et si on ajoute des artifices, du maquillage c'est pour un plus, c'est parce qu'on en a envie, c'est pour un évènement particulier 

and if we choose to make up our face it is for adding something to our natural beauty, a specific reason, an interview, a big event, a wedding etc or simply because we feel like it, each day is different why staying in a rut, 

  

 une esthéticienne m'a dit un jour :

" le fond de teint c'est pas nécessaire, la base c'est d'avoir une belle peau,

il faut se concentrer d'abord sur ça"

j'ai trouvé cela formidable et ça m'a toujours inspiré...

A beauty specialist told me once that "face foundation is not necessary, the most important is to have a beautiful skin".

This conversation has stayed with me until today and still greatly inspires me, now that I am advising women on their beauty routines. 

d'ailleurs les compliments les plus "enflammés" que j'ai pu recevoir ont été quand j'étais à peine ou pas maquillée et les cheveux "lâchés" et peu coiffés

And actually if i think about it, the most beautiful compliments I have received were on days I didn't have any make up on and that my hair was not neatly done.

    

I believe when you know your natural beauty is enough 

it shows 

and putting make up on is a plus not a must
